Mark Bradtke is one of Australia's most respected sporting figures, with an extraordinary basketball career spanning more than two decades across the NBL, NBA and four Olympic Games. Renowned for his leadership, resilience and professionalism, Mark has successfully transitioned from elite sport into business ownership and now calls the Gold Coast, Queensland home. Today, he is passionate about developing the next generation of athletes through coaching, mentoring and player development, while also sharing the lessons he's learned about leadership, high performance, teamwork and navigating life beyond elite sport. Outside of work, Mark embraces the Gold Coast lifestyle, spending his spare time surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and enjoying the outdoors.

Unquestionably one of the best bigs this country has ever produced, Mark Bradtke burst onto the basketball scene as an 18-year-old at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. His international career was a decorated one: representing Australia in 205 games over 14 years, Bradtke participated in four Olympic games and two FIBA World Championships, claiming two Gaze Medals as Australia’s International Player of the Year.

His NBL career was equally impressive. In 1989 he took out the award for Most-Improved Player while playing for Adelaide, but Hogey’s career blossomed after he moved to Melbourne in 1992. He helped the Tigers win championships in 1993 and 1997, claimed the 2002 Most Valuable Player award, and in total, earned 10 All-NBL First Team honours.

Mark finished his NBL career with a move to the Brisbane Bullets and another Championship in 2007. In total, Bradtke played 554 NBL games, holds the league record for rebounds with 6283, and was selected in the NBL’s 25th Anniversary team of 2003.
